Learn How to Deal With Oily Skin

You may feel that having oily skin is a curse and a challenge to deal with. It is completely natural for your skin to produce oil and it happens because of sebaceous glands which are located in the middle layer of skin known as the dermis. Oil is produced to keep your skin moist and supple. However sometimes the sebaceous glands over-produce oil which in turn causes oily skin.
Do You Have Oily Skin?
Oily skin is most prevalent in teenagers due to rampaging hormones. If your days as a teenager are well behind you there are other ways to determine whether or not you have oily skin.
First of look in the mirror to see if there is a sheen to your skin, particularly your “T-Zone”. For those who aren’t sure what a “T-Zone” is, it’s the area of skin that starts at your forehead and goes vertically down your nose and to your chin. The T-Zone also covers your skin which goes across the bridge of your nose along to below your eyes.
Look in the mirror and decide whether you have oily hair. This is another indicator.
